"The majority of where I`m hitting them at is right down here along 117th and Clifton and Lake," said Denny Nehrenz who lives nearby.
The city knew West 117th was in bad shape, and started resurfacing parts of it back in August.
Nehrez figured they would eventually tackle the area between Clifton and Lake Avenue, but they didn't. Now, he and others are wondering why.
"When they closed down 117th to fix the street, you would`ve thought they would`ve done it by then," said resident, Sarah Perez.
As it turns out, that section will be getting fixed, but not anytime soon. The city said they have to wait until spring for phase two of construction. The project was split up because of funding.
In the meantime, crews will continue to patch up the potholes.
Perez doesn't think that will do much good though.
"Especially if we have any big snows that come through and the salt trucks come through; it won't stick," she said.
