ORRVILLE, OH – Members of the Orrville Fire Department went above and beyond firefighting Tuesday afternoon as they went on a mission to save a family’s cats.

The fire department was called out for a house and barn fire shortly after 2 p.m. They put the fire out, but it was then that the family told them that their cats might still be in the basement of the home. Firefighters Evans and Hostetler went in and found both cats, alive and well.

The lucky felines were returned to their family, but not before they got a little cuddling from their rescuers.
