SANDUSKY, Ohio- Two men were arrested after Ohio troopers say they found marijuana wrapped as Christmas presents.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped a speeding car on Interstate 80 in Erie County on Wednesday afternoon. Troopers said they smelled raw marijuana coming from the car, prompting them to search it.
The patrol said they found about five pounds of hydroponic pot inside six glass jars that were wrapped in Christmas presents. A drug pipe and marijuana cookies were also inside the Chrysler 200.
According to the highway patrol, the items have an estimated street value of $25,000.
Troopers arrested Jack Wilson and Jacob Chase, both 36 and or Eugene, Ore. There were charged with possession of marijuana and taken to the Erie County Jail.
