Ohio State Highway Patrol releases infrared video of TJ Lane’s arrest

LIMA, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has posted video to YouTube of TJ Lane being arrested after escaping prison Thursday night.

The 19-year-old convicted Chardon High School shooter escaped with inmates Clifford Opperud and Lindsey Bruce around 7:40 p.m. Thursday by scaling a fence. Bruce was apprehended just after the escape. Opperud was found under a boat on a private residence north of Bluelick Road.

Lane was caught last — in a wooded area near the prison at around 1:20 a.m.
