WAKEMAN, Ohio – Chloe Archer, 21, has earned many blue ribbons during competitions with her horse, Mystic.

Chloe has Down syndrome and participates on competitions with a non-profit therapeutic riding program in Oberlin.

This year, Chloe has more than ribbons to be proud of though.

Her photo with Mystic will be a part of the 2015 National Down Syndrome Society video that will be played in Times Square.

The video is made annually to remind people about the gifts that people with Down syndrome bring to their communities. The video will premier on September 19 to kick off Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

This year, more than 1,000 photos were submitted for the video.

Chloe is looking forward to seeing her photo featured.

“I am so excited to have my picture on the big screen in New York City!  I hope my mom and I can go see it.”

In addition to competing with Mystic, Chloe also works at Steak N’ Shake in Sandusky and goes to EHOVE Career Center.
