Cleveland police investigating early morning homicide

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a fatal early morning shooting.

According to police, officers were called to the 11000 block of Parkview Avenue around 3 a.m. Friday.

Upon their arrival they found a 20-year-old man in the street. He had been shot multiple times.

Officers administered first aid before Cleveland EMS transported the man to University Hospitals in critical condition. He later passed away from his injuries.

On scene police learned that the victim had been discovered by people traveling in a vehicle that was driving down the street.  Multiple gun shots were reportedly heard in the neighborhood.

Cleveland’s homicide unit is investigating.
