CHICAGO, Illinois — A Chicago parole board may help out a repeat offender.
Shermain Miles, 51, has been arrested 396 times in Chicago since 1978. She’s currently in prison for violating parole.
The Sun-Times reports that Miles begged the parole board for another chance at freedom yesterday.
She just might get it.
Board Chairman Adam Monreal told her that he plans to talk to a judge about putting her into a program that requires intense supervision.
Miles replied, “Praise God!”
The Prison Review Board could also keep her locked up until her parole expires in November.
