CLEVELAND-- The Ohio Department of Transportation is preparing for the latest round of winter weather.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties from Monday evening until Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.

Then, a winter storm watch goes into effect Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night for Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties.

80 ODOT trucks will be out treating the roads and working around the clock, patrolling, salting, and plowing the roadways as needed.

Heavy winds and falling temperatures will make for tricky travel. The Ohio Department of Transportation has 60 thousand tons of salt available to be loaded onto the trucks and will order additional shipments throughout the season if needed.

ODOT has one friendly reminder to drivers, Anytime your behind a semi or any sort of working vehicle if you can't see their mirrors they likely can't see you."
