EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio– The city of East Cleveland is getting some help from the Ohio Department of Transportation to handle snowy streets.
Two of the city’s salt trucks were out of service because of broken salt spreaders recently. As of Wednesday evening, the city had just one truck available to use.
East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton said ODOT loaded two salt and plow trucks to help the city take care of its icy and snowy roads.
“We are very appreciative of this assistance provided by the state of Ohio and the Department of Transportation,” Norton said.
