Obama to Campaign in Akron Wednesday

AKRON, Ohio — A campaign representative confirmed President Barack Obama will return to Ohio on Wednesday.

The president is scheduled to speak at the University of Akron’s James A. Rhodes Arena, and tickets to the Akron event will be available at the following locations on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Monday at 8 a.m.:

Summit County Democratic Headquarters
438 Grant Street
Akron, OH 44311

Laborers Union Hall
720 Wolf Ledges Parkway, Suite 201
Akron, OH 44311

The University of Akron James A. Rhodes Arena
373 Carroll Street
Akron, OH 44325

He will also be stopping in Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday.

This will come less than a week after President Obama’s appearance at Burke Lakefront Airport, where he addressed a crowd of 12,000 on Thursday night.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will appear at a ‘Victory Rally’ at North Canton Hoover High School Baseball Field on Friday.
