MILAN TOWNSHIP, OH — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly one-vehicle crash on the Ohio Turnpike Saturday night.
Authorities say Kimala Lowry, 53, was driving her Mercury Grand Marquis east on the Ohio Turnpike around 7:00 p.m. when she lost control before going off the right side of the road. Officials say she struck the guardrail, traveled down an embankment and struck a ditch.
Lorwry was taken to the hospital where she later died. Authorities say she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Her passenger, Scott Dunn, 48, sustained minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
