CLEVELAND –  They’re calling it Cleveland Pride 2015 Rewind, since the original Cleveland Pride Parade, Rally & Festival was scheduled for one of the rainiest weekends we had back in June.

The weather cooperated this time, though, and the 27th Annual Cleveland Pride Parade, Rally & Festival got under way at noon with the parade. The festival will be held at Voinoivch Park on the waterfront at East 9th Street.

Singer-songwriter Steve Grand is the headline performer later on and the keynote speaker at the rally is Phyllis Seven Harris, Executive Director of the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland.

Much has happened since last year’s event, principally that U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage in all states. The ruling was made a day before the original Cleveland parade was scheduled.
