No more parallel parking: Nevada DMV makes changes to driving test

News

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (WJW) – The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Nevada has eliminated parallel parking from its driving exam.

The change went into effect just a few weeks ago.

According to the DMV, it determined parallel parking was “an unnecessary part of the test.”

They said many drivers had to retake the test, specifically because of the parallel parking requirement.
