CLEVELAND — The city is setting up new speed control cameras in an effort to help make the streets a little safer.

So far, six have been placed around town. As of now, only three are operational.

Cameras are operational at:

  • 4050 Superior Avenue
  • 2416 E. 55th Street
  • 2300 St. Clair Avenue

The following cameras still need additional signage:

  • 3219 Detroit Road
  • 4123 Dearl Road

Xerox has been instructed to dismiss all tickets until the correct signage is displayed. A crew has been dispatched to work on the cameras and the problems should be resolved early Thursday evening.

The cost for a photo enforcement ticket is $100.
