MENTOR, Ohio — Now, that’s a lot of burritos.

A new restaurant in Mentor will offer free burritos for a year to the first 50 people in line during its grand opening Thursday.

According to a press release, Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 9710 Mentor Ave. on Thursday following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

“Recent openings featuring free burritos for a year have found excited patrons camping out overnight for their chance at the promotional offer,” according to the release.

The night before the grand opening, Moe’s will host a pre-opening all you can eat fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. and donate 100 percent of the proceeds to Mentor High School Athletics.

The restaurant is the first of several planned locations in the area by owners Paul Giggi, Tom O’Hare and Ryan O’Hare.

The restaurant is best known for its burritos, with more than 20 ingredients available. It will also feature a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, that has more than 100 different drinks.
