CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The medical examiner's office has released the official cause of death of a woman killed in downtown Cleveland on March 24.

Aliza Sherman, 53, of Beachwood, died of 11 stab wounds to the head, neck, back and arm.

Police said Sherman had just stepped out of the revolving door in front of 55 Erieview Plaza.

Police found Sherman on the ground near the Galleria with multiple stab wounds to her chest. She later died at MetroHealth Medical Center.

She had been leaving her lawyer’s office in the plaza. Sherman was in the middle of a divorce.

Police are looking at video in the deadly attack. It was turned over by the general manager of the Galleria. Police aren't saying what the video shows.

Her death is being investigated as a homicide, and no arrests have been made.
