LORAIN, OH – Police in Lorain have caught a murder suspect who walked away from the crime late Saturday afternoon.

Anthony Wayne Davis was wanted in the shooting death of Corrinna Charleton. He was last seen walking away from the home on West 7th Court, where Charleton was found shortly before 5:30 p.m. Saturday with gunshot wounds. She died from those wounds later.

The Lorain Police, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Lorain SWAT Team were watching an area in the 100 block of Hamilton Avenue, when Davis was seen leaving a home there at 9 a.m . He was arrested without incident and taken to the Lorain police station for booking.
