MASSILLON, Ohio – Fresh off their dramatic one point win in the national semifinals, the Mount Union Purple Raiders are preparing for their trip to Florida.

The team is traveling to the “sunshine state” for the 12th National Division 3 title game on Friday.

The raiders worked out inside the Paul David Athletic Center at Massillon High School on Monday. The team leaves for Virginia on Tuesday morning.

Quarterback Kevin Burke is in the running for the Gagliardi Trophy, which is the Heisman for Division 3 football.

A win for the Raiders on Friday night would give them back to back titles.
