Power restored after more than 23,000 Cuyahoga County residents left in the dark

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — Power was restored to more than 23,000 Cuyahoga County residents who were without power Wednesday evening.

According to FirstEnergy, there was an issue at a substation in the Parma area.

Officials were investigating the exact cause of the outage.

The company reported a total of 23,413 customers in the county were impacted by the outages. The hardest hit cities were Parma at 14,183 outages, and Parma Heights at 4,898.
