FirstEnergy reports some power may not be restored until tomorrow

Wind gusts up to 50 mph across Northeast Ohio have knocked power out to thousands of people.

FirstEnergy reports more than 5,000 are without electricity Friday afternoon.

The bulk of the outages are in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga and Lake counties.

However, some areas report power won’t be restored until 7 a.m. Saturday.
