CLEVELAND, Ohio — The city of Cleveland has announced more closures in the downtown area during the filming of portions of “Fast and Furious 8.”
Several scenes are being filmed throughout downtown and will require road closures and traffic reroutes. Only second shooting will take place here, so don’t expect to see actors Vin Diesel or Tyrese Gibson anywhere in the city.
But if you do want a firsthand glimpse of shooting for this billion-dollar franchise, East 6th Street at Superior Avenue will offer a prime vantage point.
Fox 8 viewer Rick Doll shared the several photos and shots seen in the video above from filming Monday night in Cleveland. The images were taken in the area of Prospect Place Apartments.
Filming is scheduled through June 10.
