CARSON CITY, Michigan - A few months ago Mason Burns' family and teachers realized that he needed a service dog.

According to Fox 17, the $12,000 price tag was too much for the family.

That's when Mason's classmates stepped up to help.

After just a couple months of fundraising, Mason now has a new partner in crime, Spider.

"He's cute," said Mason. "And I love him and he makes me feel better."
