MANSFIELD, Ohio (WJW) — Students and staff in the Mansfield City School District had a bonus day off after the long Labor Day weekend.

According to the district’s Facebook page, their schools were closed on Tuesday because of a transportation staff shortage.

The district says classes will resume Wednesday, but middle school and high school students will be on an early release schedule for the rest of the week. Those students will get out of school at 1:25 p.m.
