AKRON, Ohio- He spent seven and a half years in prison for a crime he did not commit.
The trauma of that time behind bars left Clarence Elkins with a lifetime of repercussions and PTSD.
Now, nine years after his release, Elkins said he’s suffering again at the hands of the same system that did him wrong. Fox 8’s Stacey Frey spoke exclusively with Elkins about the injustices he still endures.
