Several people arrested near East 4th in Cleveland during protests

CLEVELAND – Protests have moved throughout Cleveland since the not guilty verdict was read Saturday morning in the trial of Michael Brelo.

According to Cleveland police, one male was arrested for assault after he threw an object through window of the Harry Buffalo restaurant near Progressive Field.  One female patron was injured.

Police also said three people were arrested in an incident on East 4th for aggravated riot, felonious assault and obstructing justice. There were also several arrests on East 4th due to unlawful behavior by a large crowd.

Police say they will continue to monitor  protests so they do not become violent.
