ELYRIA, Ohio– An Elyria man is accused of breaking into an adult store and stealing hundreds of dollars in sex toys.

Officers arrived at Cirilla’s on Midway Boulevard in Elyria just before 3 a.m. on Aug. 20 for an alarm. Police said they found several ceiling tiles knocked door and shoe prints on the counter, but no one inside.

Surveillance video showed a man, wearing a Jimmy John’s “Subs so fast you’ll freak” shirt, climbing down from the ceiling. He grabbed several items, left though the front door and then got locked out. Police said he came back into Cirilla’s through the roof and stole a mannequin named “Eva.”

The suspect took off the mannequin’s clothes, and put a blonde and burgundy wig on its head. He then walked out with only the top half.

An employee reported several bottles of personal lubricant and sex toys, worth as much as $150, missing.

Police arrested Ellis B. Doyle, 26, of Elyria. He is charged with breaking and entering, and is set to appear in court Monday afternoon.
