SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — An Akron man faces charges after being accused of sexually assaulting and injuring an 85-year-old woman.
According to a release from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, William M. Clark, 65, was arrested on charges of rape.
In July, the victim told the Summit County Sheriff’s Office that she had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance in mid-July.
She subsequently sought medical attention due to torn ligaments and other severe injuries.
Clark is currently in the Summit County Jail.
