LODI, Ohio — The Lodi Police Department is welcoming a new K-9 officer while it says goodbye to another.

Bosco has retired from active duty after four years of service, according to the department’s Facebook page.

Bosco was responsible for several thousand dollars in drug seizures and will now kick back and relax.

The department’s new K-9 officer is Dakota. His handler is Corp. David Brantner.
