TUSCARAWAS County, Ohio-Several local fire departments were gifted with a life-saving tool for our four-legged friends Tuesday night.

Invisible Fence of Canton donated 1 pet oxygen mask to each of the following fire departments: New Philadelphia, Midvale, Newcomerstown and Dennison Fire Departments.

The masks,
which will provide oxygen to pets who suffer smoke inhalation during a fire, were donated as part of Invisible Fence’s ‘Project Breathe.’ The program was created to help equip every fire department across the country and Canada with pet oxygen masks.

The only fire department in that area to have a pet mask is the Dover Fire Department.
