CLEVELAND– A water main break slowed traffic on Interstate 90 in Cleveland Thursday night.

The eastbound and westbound lanes at East 55th Street were restricted for several hours. South Marginal Road remains closed from East 55th Street to Marquette Street.

The Cleveland Water Department said a 12-inch main flooded the portion of I-90.

There is an electrical pole in the area of the break so once Cleveland Public Power secures that, crews will make repairs to the water main.
