Vigil for fallen police officers marks start of Peace Officers Memorial Week

CLEVELAND – The Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society marked the beginning of Peace Officers Memorial Week with a candlelight vigil Monday evening.

Fox 8’s Todd Meany read the names of fallen officers.

This past weekend, members placed markers on the graves of officers commemorated on  the Greater Cleveland Police Officers Memorial, which is located in Huntington Park on Lakeside Avenue and West 3rd Street.
