Bond set for Summit County sheriff’s deputy accused of sexual assault

AKRON, Ohio-- Bond has been set for a Summit County Sheriff's deputy accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

Antonion Williamson, 46, turned himself into authorities yesterday and appeared in a Summit County Common Pleas Courtroom this morning.

Prosecutors said the alleged crime happened on March 19, according to court documents. The victim is 26 years old.

A grand jury indicted Williamson on one count of rape, one count of kidnapping, two counts of sexual battery and one count of gross sexual imposition.

Williamson pleaded not guilty to the charges in court. Bond was set at $100,000.

Williamson is expected back in court for a pretrial hearing on August 1.
