AKRON, Ohio -- Hundreds of people gathered in Akron's Highland Square Tuesday night to protest President-elect Donald Trump.

Demonstrators met behind the Chipotle at 11 p.m. and began marching through the streets just before 11:30 p.m.

Some shouted, "No Trump!  No KKK! No fascist USA!" While others yelled, "Not my president; love trumps hate!"

A passionate group of female protesters soon began chanting, "My body, my choice!" in response to growing concerns over Trump's health care plans for women.

In a Facebook post, organizers said:

"Violence and hate have been widespread since Trump's win. The American people have already spoken! Hillary won the popular vote. Even if you aren't for Hillary (this isn't about Hillary) the point is we have shown that Trump's America is not the America we want!"
