CLEVELAND (WJW) — The United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants staff and volunteers delivered Thanksgiving meals to 400 refugees celebrating their first Thanksgiving in America.

According to a press release from the USCRI, the deliveries will include one culturally appropriate meal per person, a welcome letter in their language explaining the holiday and a blanket.

The food was donated from local restaurants and refugee catering businesses, the release said.
