Crews at Cleveland Hopkins get ready for winter with runway drills

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – Crews at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport hope no one is grounded due to winter weather this season.

That’s why the Snow Removal Team practices dry run exercises.

These are the folks that work to keep the runways clear when ice and snow cover Northeast Ohio.

Crews practiced Monday for the snowy season.
