CLEVELAND (WJW) — Fire crews responded to the scene of the Lorain Branch Library on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland Wednesday.
Officials say a utility pole fell and the power lines landed on the roof causing a fire.
The Illuminating Company responded to the scene to turn the power off so Cleveland fire crews could extinguish the fire.
Lorain Ave. was closed between West 81st to West 83rd while firefighters responded to the scene.
The library was already closed for renovations. No one was hurt.
