Less than a week left to register to vote for the 2016 presidential primary

CLEVELAND – There are only a few days left for Cleveland voters to register to vote in the 2016 presidential primary.

The deadline for registration is February 16 at 9 p.m. Voters can register at the Board of Elections or at any public libraries.

“This will be one of the most watched and talked about primary election seasons in decades, with colorful candidates and heavy media coverage,” said Pat McDonald, the Director of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

The primary is on March 15.

The ballot choices for voters are: Democrat, Republican, Green, Issues Only, and other.

Voters can begin early voting on February 17 by going here for a ballot or calling 216-443-8683.
