NEW YORK – Leah Still, daughter of NFL defensive lineman, Devon Still, continued to celebrate being cancer-free with an interview on Good Morning America Friday.

Leah battled cancer the past year and even received the the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award at the ESPY Awards because of the strength she showed throughout her fight.  Leah couldn’t attend the ceremony because of her health over the summer.

In the exclusive interview with Robin Roberts, Leah said her dad helped her along the way.

“I think it’s because my daddy made me [strong],” Leah said.

“I’m just thankful,” Devon Still told Roberts. “It was definitely a long road traveled. We definitely feel blessed and thankful that we have the doctors and the people around us to help us through this battle.”

Leah had her last treatment last week and on Friday she said she feels “really good.”

Leah is also very close with LeBron James, spending some time with him after the Cavaliers took on the Washington Wizards last week to celebrate her recovery.
