PAINESVILLE, Ohio-- The Lake County Sheriff's Office urged drivers Friday afternoon to avoid Interstate 90.
A multi-car crash shut down westbound lanes between SR 528 and Vrooman Road at just after noon Friday.
The area was back open at around 5 p.m.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said eight vehicles were involved in the crash; four of them were semis.
One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and one person was cited.
