KENT, Ohio- More than 200 people protested at Kent State University following a Missouri grand jury’s decision to not indict a Ferguson police officer in the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.
Students began the Tuesday afternoon protest with a moment of silence at the university’s student center and then marched to Oscar Ritchie Hall, according to Kent State spokesman Eric Mansfield. Other stops on the march included the large rock on the front of campus and the Kent State Police Department.
