KENT, Ohio — The Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity at Kent State University has been suspended for hazing.
According to KSU spokesperson Eric Mansfield, an investigation led to the three-year suspension “a few weeks ago.”
The suspension doesn’t affect any of the members’ academic standings as students, Mansfield said. According to the fraternity’s website, the fraternity was founded at Kent in 1991.
In October, Kent’s Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity was also suspended for three years. That followed another investigation into a hazing complaint.
Details on the most recent investigation are not available this weekend, according to Mansfield.
