(WJW) — Would it surprise you to find that your child’s school had serious fire code violations, like frayed electrical wires, a malfunctioning alarm system or blocked emergency exits?
That’s what inspectors found in some Cleveland schools during their recent annual inspections.
Fox 8 I-Team reporter Carl Monday reviewed dozens of inspection reports and tagged along with a suburban fire inspector to show why compliance of fire codes is key to keeping our kids safe.
