INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Following expert testimony and statement's from Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle, the prosecution and defense attorneys, U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt sentenced Fogle to 15.6 years in jail. He will be supervised for the rest of his life after his release.

Fogle told the judge Thursday that he would stick with his decision to plead guilty to the child porn and sex crime charges.

In a statement in court, Fogle said “I take full responsibility for what I’ve done.”

“Not a day will go by where I won’t think of (the victims.) I hope the restitution will help in their lives," he added.

Fogle's attorneys have said in court documents that he suffers from hypersexuality and alcohol problems and is committed to receiving treatment for his medical conditions.

Fogle agreed in August to plead to one count each of travelling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography.

Prosecutors wanted a 12 ½-year sentence, while Fogle's attorneys had asked for five years.
