LOS ANGELES – Janet Jackson is pregnant with her first child, according to reports from Entertainment Tonight.

The news comes just weeks after Jackson delayed the second part of her “Unbreakable” tour because her and her husband wanted to focus on starting a family.

The singer, who turns 50 on May 16 and her husband Wissam Al Mana said starting their family soon was important.

Back in April, she shared a message with her fans on Twitter about the decision to delay the tour.

“I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she said with a smile. “Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”

At the time, they did not share any information about how they would grow their family, whether it be through pregnancy, adoption or surrogacy.

Her concert in Cleveland had been most recently scheduled for Aug. 28, 2016.
