A dance that was an inspiration to others.

Professional dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis was back on the stage for the first time after losing part of her left leg in the Boston Marathon bombing last year.

TMZ said the 33-year-old appeared at the TED Conference in British Columbia on Wednesday as a guest of Hugh Herr, the director of the Biomechatronics Group at The MIT Media Lab.

Herr reportedly helped in leading the project to create a special prosthetic for Adrianne.

At the conference, Herr said, “In 3.5 seconds, the criminals and cowards took Adrianne off the dance floor. In 200 days, we put her back.”

Adrianna and dance partner Christian Lightner danced to Enrique Iglesias’ hit “Ring My Bells.”

Adrianna said she was thrilled to dance again. She also said it’s invigorating to know her return to dance may have the power to inspire other people to reach for their goals.
