BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Authorities say they are searching for an inmate who escaped from a northwest Ohio prison.

The sheriff’s office in Wood County says 24-year-old Jhon Rosado escaped from the Northwest Community Correction Center in Bowling Green on Wednesday night.

Authorities say Rosado escaped by going over a fence. He was wearing a blue jump suit with an orange sweatshirt.

The escape comes less than a week after Chardon High School shooter T.J. Lane and two other inmates briefly escaped from a prison in Lima.

Authorities said the trio escaped by scaling a fence in a recreation yard.
