Injured hawk rehabilitating at Lake Erie Nature and Science Center

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio- An animal control officer found a hawk with a fractured wing in North Ridgeville last week.

Police said the officer was called to the American Legion for an injured bird. He took the hawk to the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, where experts said the female bird suffered a fractured wing.

The nature center said they should be able to rehabilitate the animal and release her.
