CLEVELAND — The Indians continued their winning ways on Monday night thanks to a 7-3 win over the Oakland A’s at Progressive Field.

Ubaldo Jimenez went 5 2/3 innings and allowed 4 hits and 1 earned runs in his 2nd win of the season. The veteran right hander struck out 8 batters.

The Indians swatted 4 solo homers to get the win, as All Star shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera hit a pair of them. Jason Kipnis and Mark Reynolds also had solo homers. Reynolds homer, which traveled about 460 feet, gave him 10 for the season as the veteran free agent is paying dividends in a big way so far this season.

On top of the homers, Jason Giambi spanked a 2 run double in the seventh inning and American League Player of the week Ryan Raburn followed with an RBI single.

With the win, the Indians nudged their record above .500 to 15-14.
