CLEVELAND - A local police agency is taking a second look at a road rage incident caught on camera after the Fox 8 I-Team started asking questions.

A local man drives around with a video camera rolling on his dashboard just in case.

Recently, the man says he blew his horn at another driver. Next, a passenger got out of that car at a stop light, walked over to his car, and violently kicked his passenger door. You can see a large dent in the door.

The incident happened in July at MLK and Euclid in the University Circle area. Since much of it had been caught on camera, the man thought he’d quickly get justice.

However, he tells the I-Team, University Circle Police told him there was nothing they could do. The victim says police told him they had talked to the other driver, but she only knew her passenger by a first name. Therefore, police did not have the information needed to move forward with the case.

The I-Team called University Circle Police and have been told the case with the video now has been forwarded to detectives.
