CLEVELAND- Cleveland police made a second arrest in the murder of an off-duty city firefighter, the FOX 8 I-Team learned on Tuesday.

A woman is sitting in jail under investigation for aggravated murder. Multiple sources confirmed this is related to the shooting death of Cleveland firefighter William Walker.

Walker, 45, was ambushed as he arrived at his Lampson Drive home on Nov. 3, 2013. He had been well-respected in his job and no one could understand why he would be murdered.

Weeks ago, police charged a man named Chad Padgett with the murder. Prosecutors described the crime as a hit and said Padgett received text messages to kill Walker.

Investigators indicated more arrests were likely. The suspect in jail has not yet been charged.
